The National Trust - Hardcastle Crags, Hebden Bridge

The National Trust (Client) asked us to submit a tender due to being a Dulux Trade Contract Partner. Although we did not submit the lowest tender, the Client wanted to use us as an alternative to a national provider.

What we did : Painted the windows inside and out on Gibson complex, doors, gutters and fallpipes. We also painted the lodge and Hollins mill and barn that form part of Hardcastle crags in Hebden Bridge, Halifax.

The windows were painted using the clients and Akzo Nobels specification, three coats of the Sikkens Rubbol Range (http://www.sikkens-wood-coatings.co.uk/en/world-of-colours/collections/rubbolr-collection.html). The windows needed extensive preparation using caulk and two pack filler due to the locality of the windows (humidity and near the lake/river) and previous application.

How we did it : Using ladders, step ladders, mobile tower platform assembled by operatives with PASMA certificate, Truck mounted hydraulic lift using an IPAF operative.

Another great job completed by Halls Decorating & Painting Contractors Ltd, Fully accredited CHAS, Dulux contract partner, Constructionline, PDA & CSCS members
