St Gregorys Catholic Church, Salisbury.

Full internal redecoration of St Gregory’s Catholic Church. The church hadn’t been decorated for at least 65 years. The walls and ceilings had a layer of black dust from the years of having candles burning on a constant basis. The back wall which held the crucifix was blown and required repairing over an 8m2 area.

Tony Coyle from the church organised for all the seating to be removed during the refurb which allowed us to use towers. MEWPs would have been the preferred choice of access however due to the entrance steps and very narrow disabled ramp, we were unable to do so.

The parish requested a product which was cleanable, so all walls and ceilings received a wash down with sugar soap. A mist coat followed by 2 full coats of Dulux Trade Diamond Matt. All the timber was cleaned down twice with methylated spirits and had 2 applications of Danish Oil.

The floor was then sanded down over 5 days and oiled.

We also painted the nosings to all the steps leading up to the church, 2 double entrance doors, the entrance lobby, staircase, confession room, 2 store rooms, sacristy area and nave area.

We were tasked with completing all of the works within a 2 week window and delivered this on time.

Tony Coyle, of the church had this to say about us.
