Quorn Manor House Loughborough - TARMAC

A magnificent manor house that had laid derelict for 20 years required a full redecoration both internally and externally. As well as the main house we had the lodge to compete and a large studio.

Our team had to to remove all wall coverings which dated back many many years, you could see the trends in wall coverings over the different decades, they were then all crosslined. The ceilings and cornice were very ornate and in a very poor condition. The wooden panelling was listed and required extreme care.

The client Tarmac have been very impressed and have commended Opus on the finish we were able to achieve. This is made especially sweet by the fact the project had a 16 week programme and was completed in the cold months of January to March.
