St Vincent's Apartments - Realty Property Management

We were pleased to secure this contract which comprised the external redecoration to St Vincent’s apartments, consisting of four blocks, all of which had four floors. Each block had wooden fascias, soffits, windows, doors, bin stores and metal railings which required extensive pre-paint repairs; with one of the blocks having full render which also required full decoration. All the residents were to remain in-situ during the works and so it was imperative that a contractor was chosen with experience of working in and around occupied premises and with proven customer care processes in place.

Working closely with the client, we ensured that we completed the decoration work safely and to an exceptionally high standard, with as little disruption caused to the residents as possible. We posted information letters to each apartment informing residents of all works taking place and the requirements for security and access.

All operatives underwent DBS/safeguarding checks before being permitted to undertake any works on-site and received formal training in Working at Height, PASMA and IPAF to achieve their qualifications prior to the commencement of the works.

We also worked closely with our supply chain partners to design a durable specification that would achieve a high quality finish with an increase in the maintenance cycle, with water-based, quick-drying and low odour paints, allowing the residents to close their windows and doors at a reasonable time for added security.
