Kirklands Care Home

We were awarded the internal and external decoration package of a newly constructed 8 bedroom extension to this care home in cockermouth. Externally the newly rendered walls required a primer and two full coats with the bands and quoins in a contrasting colour to the main walls. Having no access to any previous OM information or existing coatings we achieved a colour match by using our Dulux Colour Sensor which was able to provide us with a near perfect solution. Internally it was a mist coat and two full coats diamond matt to all ceilings and walls throughout, allowing for water based gloss system to any painted woodwork and a water based varnish on handrails. Quick drying materials were essential on this fast paced, short timescale project.
